Connected To A Network But No Internet Access

Do you have a new router and you can't connect to it and even to the internet?

Are you connected to a network but you cannot access the internet?

Try this solution for that questions:

First, make sure that IP address and DNS server was set to obtain the address automatically. To do it just click on Start button, in search bar type ncpa.cpl and press "Enter".

Right click on your Network icon Select "Properties".

Scroll down and double click on "Internet Protocol[TCP/IP]". Make sure that "Obtain IP address automatically" options are selected.

Second, click on Start button, in search bar type cmd and press "Enter".

Type this command. ipconfig /all and press enter.

Make sure that IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway and DNS Servers are having addresses.
You try also to renew/reset your IP address.

If the problem still exist check your anti-virus software for network configuration. Sometimes it is not your network adapter or router. For example McAfee Anti-Virus, you only need to uninstall and re-install their security suite.

Lastly, check your Firewall.
